COMPUTING FACILITIES
Computing facilities in the department include Windows XP on PC machines and Tiger on eMac G4 in the teaching labs PE118 and PE119 and a wide variety of PC, Sun, and Apple workstations in the research laboratories. In addition, the department has access to the Reese Visualization Center which houses a 56 node SGI Origin Supercomputer and an impressive immersive presentation theater.
If you are currently enrolled in a computer science course then you have an account on the departmental UNIX server beside the E-raider account that the University provides.
